Here is my new set of medals that I’ve created off the back of another commission medal I made in September.  These are made more to real scale as I think I’ll go, rather than my giant medals that sold at Dorset art weeks earlier in the year.

Giving a medal to someone appeals to me and have always been fascinated in their design and symbolism. Making these also let me  use some of the more interesting patterned ceramics in my hoard.

 

Two of these have sold at Walford mill, the last one (The Harvard Star) will join a new batch of medals I’m putting together for my next Art event .
