The Art of Broken Things; Life is full of fragments which I reflect through my work. There are good and bad shards, it’s fitting them together to create anew that I enjoy.
Colin is a Mosaic artist based in Dorset, UK. His unique and original take of mosaicking focuses on recycling ceramics; focusing principally on transferware and retro designs.
His inspiration comes from a love of ceramics which he’s collected for many years. Although his work can often be whimsical and funny there sometimes is a deeper message woven in.
Colin started making his mosaics 2013 with old shards collected from the ground whilst gardening and on walks, he has been developing his artistic ideas and creations ever since.
